Gold medalist

Wellsville High School senior Carrie Shirk won the girls triple jump Friday in the Redbud Relays. Shirk has set meet and school records in the triple jump this season. Central Heights’ Brock Rickerson won the boys pole vault. Both schools’ track teams will compete Thursday in the first Pioneer League track meet at Jayhawk-Linn.
