The concert, featuring Emerson Drive, Julie Roberts, The Outlaw Junkies and Jeff Allen, is Sept. 13 and is part of the Anderson County Corn Festival at Garnett’s North Lake Park. The cost of the wristbands is $20 through May 31. The price goes up to $30 after that. “That’s a great bargain for people living in the local area and one I hope they don’t pass up,” Susan Wettstein, Corn Festival secretary, said. The concert headliner, Emerson Drive, has received both Grammy and American Academy of Country Music Award nominations. Their hit songs on the country music charts include “Fall Into Me,” “I Should Be Sleeping,” “A Good Man,” “Moments” and “You Still Own Me.” Wristbands can be bought at all Patriots Bank locations, Garnett Country Mart, all Garnett State Savings Bank locations, the Kansas Corn Growers Association office and Garnett Dairy Queen. Wristbands can also be bought on-line at www.cornstock.net or www.ticketweb.com. Children 0-3 are free. | |
