Damage to Property/Vandalism

Sometime between 0130hrs and 1100hrs today date, and unknown vehicle went off the roadway and struck the victim’s mailbox. The vehicle then left the scene without reporting. Damage is $100.00

1608 LABETTE RD

Accident

Received call of a hit and run where a vehicle driven by Britton Rogers of rural Ottawa hit the mailbox at 1608 Labette Rd and left the scene. Britton stated she did not know she struck the mailbox. Land owner did not want anything done as the damage was minimal.

78 YOA Betty Denniston from Vassar, KS was driving west bound in the 800 block of K-68 Highway. 27 YOA Lindsay Stultz from Paola, KS was driving east bound in the 800 block of K-68 Highway. The two vehicles side swiped each other.

Spoke with male, 40 yoa, of Williamsburg, reference theft of a chainsaw. The chainsaw was valued at $500.00.

Responded to a structure fire at 139 N Cleveland in Richmond. Made contact with home owner Kelly Reeder, 32 yoa, of Richmond, who also discovered the fire. Fire was put out and damage under $1,000 dollars.

Responded to 301 N. East Ave. in Williamsburg for a domestic dispute. 29 year old Justin Smith was arrested for domestic battery and transported to the Franklin County Jail.
