Agenda set for Monday county study session

A Franklin County Commission budget study session is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Franklin County Office Annex, 14th and Main streets.

Members of the public wishing to speak on Budgets of Study must register with the County Clerk prior to the beginning of the meeting.

BUDGETS OF STUDY:  Budgets to be studied includes those departmental, agency, tax, and non-tax budgets that will effect the County's overall expenditures, revenues and mill levy for the ensuing year.  These discussions are strictly for purpose of preparing the budgets and better understanding the proposals and requests of these departments, agencies, and funds.

  • 8:30 a.m. — Bea Martin Peck Animal Shelter Budget
  • 8:50 a.m. — Register of Deeds Budget
  • 9:10 a.m. — Franklin County Extension Council Budget
  • 9:30 a.m. — Franklin County Conservation District Budget
  • Break
  • 10:05 a.m. — 4th Judicial District Court Budgets
  • 10:25 a.m. — Franklin County Historical Society Budget
  • 10:45 a.m. — Developmental Disabilities Budget
  • 11:05 a.m. — Franklin County Services for the Elderly Budget
  • 11:25 a.m. — Economic Development Budget
