• The 17-year-old Wellsville girl who reigns over Franklin County this year as Dairy Princess will enter regional competition Saturday. Bonnie Gould will go to Leavenworth Saturday for the regional Dairy Princess contest. The winner will enter the state contest.

• The ground breaking ceremony for Pomona flood control reservior is to be held Friday, July 10, it was announced at a meeting held yesterday at Lyndon.

Jack Miller, publisher of the Peoples Herald at Lyndon, called together representatives of towns in the upper valley to start planning for the event.
