Guy & Mae's restaurant makes the cut; named one of 8 wonders of Kansas Cuisine

Guy & Mae's barbecue restaurant in Williamsburg is a wonder -- and that's official.

The iconic restaurant was named one of the "8 Wonders of Kansas Cusine" at 9 a.m. today by the Kansas Sampler Foundation.

The honor was accorded to the restaurant after statewide voting online. It had been one of 24 finalists.

Two Lawrence establishments also are among the final eight: Freestate Brewing and Wheatfield's Bakery.
