Motor Vehicle Accident

100 block East 5th, 1600 hours, a vehicle driven by Joel Fredrickson 56-year-old Ottawa Kansas male hit a bicycle ridden by a Nathan McGowin 14-year-old Williamsburg male.  Fredrickson was issued a citation for Inattentive Driving. 

1506 hours, a Julie Hunt, 47-year-old Ottawa Kansas female reported that she was waiting to turn onto Main Street from the sonic drive when the vehicle in front of her backed into her. The driver then left the scene after apologizing.

Aggravated Burglary

Westwood Circle, 0939 hours, a 30-year-old Ottawa Kansas female reported that she had items taken from her garage overnight.

Warrant Arrest

900 block East 8th, Albert Toumberlin 28-year-old Ottawa Kansas male was arrested on a Franklin County Warrant.

715 W 2nd, 1857 hrs, The suspect Justin Guyett a 29-year-old Bonner Springs KS male was arrested on a City of Ottawa warrant. 

Criminal Damage to Property

900 block East 8th, 0900 hours, a 28 year-old male from Ottawa reported that someone spray painted the house he rents overnight.

Theft

940 N. Main (Casey’s General Store), 2139 hours, a 29-year-old female from Princeton reported an unknown subject stole fuel.

  Nicole Allen, a 23 year-old Williamsburg female, left the scene of an private property accident at the Fuel Mart in Williamsburg.  Nicole had backed into a barrier pole next to the diesel fuel pump.  NTA issued for No Insurance and Leaving the Scene of a Property Accident.  See report.

Clair Wiley from Colony, KS reported that someone had backed into his vehicle, while it was parked at Central Heights High School.  Damage was under $1,000.

Williamsburg fire responded to a structure fire at 128 S. Center in Williamsburg, KS. The home belonged to Danny Clifton. Damage to the house was under $5,000.
