Kansas City wheat futures traded lower this morning, feeling pressure from the ngoing Kansas wheat harvest, and fund liquidation ahead of tomorrow's USDA reports, according to traders.

The U.S. dollar was trading higher at midday, weighing on grain markets, traders added.

Corn seems to be coming off of morning lows, traders said, and if it pulls back, wheat futures may have seen the lows of the day. Overall there is a general lack of support ahead of tomorrow's USDA prospective plantings reports. KC July wheat was 7 ½ cents lower at $5.82 at midday.

CASH GRAIN: A lot of new crop cars on the market today, higher pros bid steady to firmer; lower proteins feels pressured due to reports of low protein wheat coming in from harvest, according to traders.
