An Ottawa teenager remains in Franklin County Jail today after violating his bond conditions.

Bradley Burke, 19, Ottawa, was arrested June 24 on a no-bond warrant after failing to comply with several of his bond conditions.

Burke, who will face a jury later this year after pleading not guilty to aggravated battery in May, was arrested for several alcohol-related crimes in the past few months.

A motion to revoke Burke’s bond while his case makes it through the court system has been filed. Burke will appear in court on these matters at 2 p.m. Monday.

During a January preliminary hearing, Judge Kevin Kimball ruled there was sufficient evidence to continue the case of Burke, who is accused of stabbing 23-year-old David Connelly last July.

Since being released on bond from that case, Burke was arrested in November and accused of being a pedestrian under the influence and a minor in possession. He was arrested again in April for similar charges: minor in possession of alcohol, driving under the influence and driving while suspended.

A judge will decide next week whether Burke should remain in jail until those cases are completed.
