| By The Herald Staff With Independence Day Saturday, a lot of regular routines will change for people beginning Friday. Ottawa City Hall and the Franklin County Courthouse will be closed Friday, in addition to the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce. Ottawa Library will close Friday and will reopen at 9 a.m. Monday. The book and video returns will be locked during that time. Briscoe Pharmacy will remain open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday by agreement of local pharmacies. The Ottawa Senior Center and the East Central Kansas Area Agency on Aging will close Friday. The Ottawa Herald will have regular office hours Friday. The Herald’s weekend edition will be printed and delivered Friday afternoon and will include Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as well as the weekly Channels listing. The office will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday and regular newspaper deliveries will resume. | |
