ECKAAA having photo contest for area people 60 and older

The East Central Kansas Area Agency on Aging will have a photo contest in the six-county area it serves. One photo will be chosen from Anderson, Coffey, Franklin, Linn, Miami and Osage counties for the top of the cover of each issue of the agency newspaper, Golden Years.

One prize will be awarded in each county. Prizes to be announced in the August/September issue of Golden Years. The first photo will run in the October/November 2008 issue.

Submission guidelines include:

• Photos must be submitted by e-mail or on disk as a JPEG file. E-mail photos to leslear@eckaaa.state.ks.us. Disks and photos will not be returned and become the property of the agency.

• People submitting photos must be 60 or older.

• Submission deadline is Sept. 1. Each photo submitted must be accompanied by an application form. Call (785) 242-7200 or (800) 633-5621 for an application form.
