GARNETT — Jerold Patterson, 70, Garnett, died on Thursday, July 17, 2008, at the Anderson County Hospital, Garnett.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Nazarene, Garnett.
He was born Dec. 22, 1937, to Leo L. and Flora (Arnold) Patterson in Uniontown. The family moved to Garnett in 1948, where he graduated from Garnett High School in 1955.
He married Jeanie Anderson on Sept. 15, 1957, at Ottawa. She survives.
He farmed all of his life in the Mont Ida area and was a trucker and restaurant owner.
Survivors also include two sons, Jeff Patterson, Garnett, and Jere Patterson, Garnett; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother.
Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Garnett. Burial will be at the Garnett Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Church of the Nazarene or for diabetes research.
