Warrant Arrest

100 S. Cedar, 0902 hrs, The suspect Trapper Ainsworth a 27-year-old Ottawa male was arrested on a City of Ottawa warrant.

100 S. Cedar, 0907 hrs, The suspect Michael Powell a 50-year-old Ottawa male was arrested on a City of Ottawa warrant. 

715 W. 2nd, 1236 hrs, the suspect Michael Whitacre a 47-year-old Ottawa male was arrested on a City of Ottawa warrant. 

Damage to Property

500 E. 3rd, 0930 hrs, a representative of the City of Ottawa a 36-year-old Ottawa male reported that an unknown suspect damaged property.

Burglary / Theft

600 Burroughs, 1313 hrs, the victim a 49-year-old Ottawa female reported that an unknown suspect stole property.

900 Hanes Drive, 1401 hrs, the victim a 19-year-old Ottawa male reported that an unknown suspect stole property. 

900 E. Walton, 1616 hrs, the victim a 19-year-old Ottawa female reported that an unknown suspect stole property.

Theft

1100 W. 15th, 1321 hrs, the victim a 76-year-old Smith Center KS female reported that an unknown suspect removed items from her room.

Theft / Unlawful use of financial Card

300 Block East 12th, 1818 hours, a 28-year-old Ottawa Kansas female reported that she had a Debit card taken Friday night and had been used to purchase items. 

Driving While Suspended

1000 E. 15th, 1828 hrs, the suspect James Droddy a 48-year-old Pomona KS male was arrested for driving while suspended and no insurance. 

Harboring a Vicious Animal

800 Block Tremont, 2243 hours a 26-year-old Ottawa Kansas male reported that his dog had been attacked by another neighborhood dog. A Catherine Wise 50-year-old Ottawa Kansas female was cited for harboring a vicious animal for the event.

Accident

Wayne Deal, 76, Topeka, was turning westbound onto Sand Creek Rd. when he struck a vehicle driven by 17 year old Daniel Yarbro of Ottawa.  Damage over 1,000.  Deal was also entered as a missing person and was turned over to his family.

Christopher McCord was arrested for Battery (DV) and damage to property after he struck a female and damaged a bathroom wall.

Burglary

Male reported that a stereo and other items were taken from his truck. As I was speaking with him, four people came to the house and returned some of the items from the truck. They also told me Timothy Caleb Pommell had taken the items. Pommell was located and arrested for burglary, theft, and damage to property. See full report.
