Warrant Arrest

305 South Main Street (Franklin County Detention Center) 1343 hours Christen Workinger, 24-year-old female from Garnett was arrested on a City of Ottawa warrant.  Officer Diehl.

Harboring a Vicious Dog

1200 South Cedar Street 0750 hours Larry Burgess, 54-year-old male from Ottawa cited for harboring a vicious animal after his dog bit a 61-year-old female from Ottawa.  Officer Wiscombe.

900 South Willow Street 1844 hours a 9-year-old juvenile male from Ottawa was bitten by a dog owned by a 33-year-old Ottawa female.  Case is still under investigation. Officer Hurtado

Damage to Property

2115 East Logan Street (Ike and Mikes Storage) 1924 hours (08/13/08 0840 hours – 08/14/08 1923 hours) a 57-year-old male from Ottawa reported that an unknown suspect had damaged items that were in storage which are owned by a 76-year-old male and a 59-year-old female both from Ottawa. Violation of Protective Order

1400 East Grant Street 2131 hours a 30-year-old male from Ottawa reported that his ex-wife a 29-year-old female from Ottawa contacted him in violation of a court order. Case is being forwarded to the county attorney’s office for review.  Officer Hawkins
