Chambers: 50TH ANNIVERSARY

Virgil and Mary Carolyn Chambers, Ottawa, will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 7 at Celebration Hall at the Franklin County Fairgrounds.

The hosts of the event will be their children, Kathy Jongenelen, and her husband, Will, Ottawa; Karen Chambers, Shawnee; Kelley Thompson, and her husband, Bob, Princeton.

They have six grandchildren and a late grandchild, Christopher Jongenelen.

Virgil Chambers and the former Mary Carolyn Biggerstaff were married Sept. 20, 1958, at the First United Methodist Church, Ottawa.
