Motor Vehicle Accident

100 South Main Street, 1558 hours, James Grogan 78 year old male from Ottawa backed from a parking stall and struck an illegally parked vehicle owned by Quincy Ray, 20 year old male from Richard, Kansas. Ray was cited for illegal parking.

1000 South Main Street, 1749 hours, a vehicle driven by Dusti Powell 29 year-old Ottawa female struck a vehicle driven by Kenny Montgomery 61 year-old Ottawa male which caused Montgomery’s vehicle to strike a vehicle driven by Parsram Venkatsammy 56 year-old Olathe male. Powell was cited for following to close.

Keokuk and North Main Street, 2331 hours, a vehicle driven by Lacy Attebery 16 year-old Paola female failed to yield the right away while making a left turn in front of a vehicle driven by Gary Watson 56 year-old Ottawa male. Lacy was cited for failure to yield.

Under Age Consumption of Alcohol

200 West 13th Street, 0300 hours, Lee Yette 19 year-old Ottawa male and Jacob Kennedy 20 year-old Ottawa male were cited and released on a Notice to Appear for under age consumption of alcohol after being contacted in Kanza Park.

700 South Mulberry Street, 1007 hours, a 29 year old female from Ottawa reported that an unknown person stole her vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered in the 800 block of South Burroughs Street.

1100 West 15th Street, 0830 hours, a 74 year-old Ottawa female reported an unknown person stole money from her purse.

1325 South Olive, 1700 hours, a 29 year-old Ottawa male reported unknown suspects entered his residence and stole numerous items.

Hit and Run Motor Vehicle Accident

600 North Cherry Street, 2200 hours, a vehicle driven by Melissa White 22 year-old Ottawa female was struck by a vehicle driven by Cody Nolan 22 year-old Paola male. Nolan left the scene on foot to an unknown location.

Trouble w/subj

Trevor D Morrison 16, Pomona was being disruptive at football game. When talked to by Reserve Deputies he became combative. Trevor was then arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to the jail. While enroute to the jail Trevor damaged a patrol vehicle by kicking out the rear window. Trevor was booked into jail on Criminal Damage, Disorderly Conduct, Minor in Consumption, and Possession of Paraphernalia.
