The Ottawa Casey’s also had checks written off the same account. ROCK CREEK RD / NEVADA RD 09/22/2009 13:32:57 Accident 2004 Ford Windstar driven by a Lloyd Kern 65 Rantoul struck a dog. Damage to the front end of vehicle. Vehicle towed by Bells Wrecker. Police DepartmentCity of Ottawa, KansasDAILY MEDIA RELEASESeptember 22, 2009 Forgery / Theft (x8) 940 North Main 1022 hours, an Ottawa female reported the passing of forged checks from a closed account at her Casey’s store since March of this year. The result was stolen fuel on the account. Damage to Property 900 Block West 6th, 1240 hours, a 32-year-old Ottawa male reported that he had a window broke out of his window sometime between Friday night and Saturday of this past weekend.
Theft 2214 South Princeton (McDonalds), 1102 hours, a 22-year-old Ottawa Kansas female reported the she had her purse taken from the store as she was working. The purse was later recovered in the trash and cash was missing. Auto Accident (Property) 700 Block South Main, a vehicle driven by a Anthony Tos 51-year-old Gladstone Missouri male drove into the back of a stopped vehicle driven by a Cora Brown 29-year-old Ottawa Kansas female as she was stopping in traffic. Tos was issued a citation for following too closely.
Auto Accident (Hit and Run) 1605 South Main, 1356 Hours, a vehicle owned by a Carrie Mulligan was struck by a known vehicle as it was parked in the parking lot of Brandy Wine. The other vehicle left without making the report. Investigation continues by officers.
Unlawful discharge of a BB gun in the city 700 E. Garfield, 1828 hrs, Kevin Beaumont a 21-year-old Ottawa male and Dora Diaz an 18-year-old Ottawa female were issued notices to appear and released for shooting a BB gun within the City of Ottawa. 24 calls for service no warnings issued no bar checks no follow ups and 3 tickets
