WMS football teams roll past Jayhawk-Linn

The Wellsville Middle School football teams Tuesday swept Jayhawk-Linn.

The seventh grade improved to 4-1 with a 34-0 victory, while the eighth grade moved to 6-0 with a 38-0 win.

For the seventh grade, Brett Osbern had two touchdowns and three 2-point conversions. Cole Silsby scored a touchdown and a 2-point conversion.

Trevor Shalkoski had a touchdown and the Eagle defense recorded a safety.

For the eighth grade, Luke Meyer had two touchdown runs and a touchdown pass. He also had four 2-point conversions. Shelton Breithaupt had a touchdown catch and two rushing scores.

Wellsville closes the season today at Prairie View.
