The Cyclones turned back Baldwin in four games Tuesday in a best three-of-five dual in Baldwin City. Ottawa won 25-15, 25-20, 20-25, 25-22. “We played pretty well,” Ottawa coach Kendra Oberzan said. “We blocked well and played good defense, and were able to fend off Baldwin’s come back. It was a good way to finish off our regular season. “Hopefully we can keep up the momentum we’ve built up winning five of our last six matches going into sub-state this weekend.” Ottawa (16-20) is the fifth seed in Saturday’s 4A sub-state at Spring Hill. Ottawa drew fourth-seeded Eudora (16-18) in the first round.
