| From the Kansas City Board of Trade Outside markets influenced stronger trade in Kansas City wheat futures this morning, with the U.S. Dollar trading weaker, and crude oil, gold markets firmer, according to traders. Wheat futures are lacking news, traders said, and the weather improvement for corn and soybean harvest, winter wheat planting was factored into Friday's session, traders added. The weather looks good going into the next week for fields to dry out. KC Dec wheat was 7 cents higher at $5.06 at midday. CASH GRAIN: The basis feels steady with a few cars coming into the market this morning, traders said. | |
