Cans to benefit Toys for Tots

Your aluminum cans could help fund gifts for children this Christmas.

The Franklin County Recycling Center, in cooperation with East Central Kansas Economic Opportunity Corp., is accepting donated aluminum cans now through Dec. 1, with proceeds going to the Toys for Tots program.

The recycling center, 2038 S. Elm St., Ottawa, is open 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
