Applebee’s to honor veterans

If you’re a veteran or an active duty military member, your meal could be free on Veterans Day.

Nearly every Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar restaurants, including the local one at 2340 S. Oak St., Ottawa, will honor veterans and active duty military members with a free meal on Veterans Day — Nov. 11.

All guests with proof of current or former U.S. military service will receive a free entree from a selection of six dishes. The offer will be available lunchtime through the dinner hours for dine-in guests.
