Franklin County is served by four libraries, the largest being in Ottawa at the building shared with Ottawa City Hall.

Along with checking out books and other materials, library users can research family history, try out a computer or bring children to pre-school Story Times.

Ottawa Library users will find current and past best sellers, videos, audiocassettes, CDs, public-use computers and a variety of programs. Ottawa Library's catalog of materials is viewable through its Web site. Cardholders may renew materials they have checked out, place holds on materials or make requests and recommendations for purchase almost any time, day or night.
