Citizen Scholar: BREANNE HENDRICKS, Ottawa High School

Volunteering for the Franklin County Cancer Foundation is the community service that meant the most to BreAnne Hendricks.

Hendricks said community service can change the way people look at their communities and can make communities better places to live.

She also has been involved with soccer and DARE Camp as a counselor.

At school, she was involved in soccer, Leadership Franklin County, debate, forensics, National Honor Society and FCCLA.

She plans to attend Baker University, majoring in political science with a minor in history or philosophy. She also plans to become a lawyer.

She is the daughter of Mark and Anita Hendricks.
